Founded by married partners Stacey and David “Taz” Theodore, the name Staz-a-licious comes from a blend of their names, Stacey + Taz, and reflects the partnership at the heart of everything they do.

Taz is a retired Marine and proud veteran. His years of service shaped the values that guide the business today: discipline, integrity, reliability, and a deep respect for showing up and doing things the right way. Stacey brings the heart and creativity. A lifelong fitness enthusiast and natural people-person, she co-opened a gym with Taz in 2007 and has always been passionate about building community through movement, food, and connection. At Staz-a-licious, she is hands-on in both the baking and daily operations, ensuring every product meets their standards.

Together, they believe that everything in moderation is key to a happy life, including sweets. That philosophy guides how they bake and how they live, with balance, intention, and enjoyment. Family is at the center of it all. Taz and Stacey are proud parents of three daughters and grandparents to three grandsons. When they’re not baking, you can find them spending time together as a family or heading down to the Outer Banks in their RV during the warmer months.
